Summary of Position:
The Library Assistant 3 position performs a combination of routine and non-routine library duties of moderate complexity requiring mid-level knowledge and judgment within pre-defined limits. Duties include hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating student employees and participating in training and development with, and for, lower-classified clerical-technical employees. This position may be cross-trained with other clerical-technical employee(s) to meet the needs of the library. The position works cooperatively and in support of the Collections and Access Services Team and the Research and Instruction Services Team and performs duties as a part of cross-functional work teams. The anticipated start date of this position is November 2024. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
