Machine Operator

Pay $28 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for running CNC machines and some manual machines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either fresher or has some knowledge of setups and programming and is eager to learn more. You will be building custom parts for machines in a laid-back and supportive environment. Training will be provided by an experienced machinist who will work part-time to ensure you get the best start possible.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and some manual machines

• Build custom parts for machines

• Perform setups and programming tasks

• Work closely with an experienced machinist for training

• Ensure machines are running efficiently and effectively

Essential Skills

• Some CNC operation experience or relevant schooling

• Understanding of feeds and speeds

• Understanding of G&M codes

• Experience with setups, even if not complex

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming at the machine

• Manual machining experience

Work Environment

The work environment is in a smaller shop with a dedicated CNC department. The atmosphere is very laid back and blue-collar, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed setting for all employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
