Kelly Science is seeking a Microbiologist to join a growing company located in Beverly, MA.

Shift: Monday- Friday 1 st Shift

Employment Type: 6+ month contract

Summary:

As the Microbiologist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of microbial retention filter testing protocols in compliance with ASTM and GMP guidelines.

Job duties include:

• Supporting upstream GMP test method development, validation and documentation.

• Ensuring the safety and efficacy of the products by validating their microbial control.

• Supporting the design and implementation of studies to validate GMP microbial retention tests.

• Developing and optimizing testing methodologies to ensure accurate and reliable results.

• Co-leading microbial feedstock production and analytics.

• Authoring SOPs and validation documents with support of a supervisor

• Preparing detailed reports and documentation for validation studies including protocol development, execution, and results analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology or a scientific related field.

• 1-4 years of experience with bacterial culture methods, identification and titer analytics including counting, LRV, serial dilutions, gram staining and biochemical tests.

• Previous experience with aseptic handling techniques and data analysis required.

• General knowledge of GMP guidelines, regulatory requirements and quality control processes related to microbial control and filtration is a plus.
