Job Description

As an Architectural Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects. You will prepare strategic plans for project success and ensure project standards, professionalism, and creativity are upheld. You will collaborate with principals and associate principals to create design solutions, oversee measurement and documentation of building’s existing conditions, and produce or oversee design development drawings in Revit from hand-drafted SD drawings. You will follow projects through the person/CD phase, work through the CA phase answering client/contractor questions, and create project documentation, including programs, regulatory reviews, meeting notes, specifications, construction drawings, and construction schedules. Your role will involve demonstrating technical competence, managing code compliance, leading design presentation meetings, attending client meetings, and acting as a direct point of communication with clients, consultants, and contractors. You will manage project schedules and extended project teams, prepare and attend town hearings for regulatory approvals, review construction documentation for accuracy and completeness, assist owners with construction bidding and contractor selection, and serve as owners’ agent during construction. You will ensure projects meet expectations of quality, time, and cost, review monthly billing, and manage project staffing appropriately.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

This position is onsite 5 days a week in Beverly, MA. You will interact closely with the partners at the firm and the project focus will primarily be on commercial projects. You will also mentor lower-level team members.
