Description

We are offering a role for an Account Specialist in Beverly Hills, California. This is a contract role for 2-3 months and is fully onsite. The Account Specialist role involves a focus on account-related tasks in a fast-paced environment, with key areas being cashiering, customer service, and accounts receivable tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process various forms of payments such as checks and lockbox accurately and efficiently.

• Post payments to the relevant customer accounts with precision.

• Manage returned mail and update mailing/email addresses as necessary.

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and questions received via email.

• Accurately process refunds in a timely manner.

• Prepare invoice documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain a strong ability to multitask and possess excellent organizational skills.

• Show strong attention to detail in data entry tasks.

• Communicate effectively, both in written and verbal form.

• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

This is a 32 hour per week role Tuesday - Friday. Pay is $20-22/hr, depending on experience.

Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service skills

• Experience in data entry is essential

• Familiarity with accounting software is preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is expected

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

• Understanding of basic accounting principles is expected

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Must have strong organizational and time-management skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is a plus.
