Shipping/Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to manage inbound and outbound shipments efficiently. You will ensure the proper delivery of items to their intended destinations, coordinate with drivers, and assign dock doors. Attention to detail is crucial, especially when dealing with FDA-regulated products. You will prioritize quality over quantity, identifying mistakes and ensuring compliance with GMP/SOPs. Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs and SAP/Inventory experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Large 500,000 square ft. warehouse with 40 employees. The facility is semi-climate controlled and brand new. It has air conditioning in summer but no heat in winter, as the product needs to be kept below a certain temperature at all times. This site serves as a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, including roasting beans and making chocolate liquor, powders, cocoa butter, etc.
