St. Luke's University Health Network Senior Systems Analyst, Enterprise Imaging - Hybrid in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

The Senior Systems Analyst, Enterprise Imaging is responsible for the development, support and maintenance of applications utilized to support the business and clinical objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include hardware and application support, VNA and Enterprise Imaging applications integrations, DICOM routers, voice dictations and other Imaging IT applications.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hardware and software support: The role involves desktop and hardware support, VNA and enterprise imaging integrations, DICOM router, voice dictation systems, and other Imaging IT applications

  • System monitoring and problem solving: The role requires daily monitoring of information systems and modality systems, notifying and working with vendors to solve problems, and providing downtime solutions

  • User management and training: The role involves adding, changing, and deleting users, granting appropriate permissions and profiles, correcting studies and patient information, and developing and providing user training

  • System configuration and upgrades: The role entails installing and setting up workstation hardware, planning and coordinating with vendors to add modality connections and software upgrades, and installing and maintaining other applications

  • Customer service and communication: The role requires dealing with clients by phone, email, or face to face, responding to inquiries and complaints, establishing, and owning vendor relationships, and working and running small project

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training/certification (such as CIIP).

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Imaging IT. Through knowledge of operations of and related Imaging IT applications (PACS, RIS, VNA, post-processing applications, hardware, etc). Proven fluency and skills in relevant hardware, software, and/or database administration, including development, implementation, maintenance, user support, and system testing and evaluation. Working knowledge of clinical applications systems and functions, including development, implementation, user support, maintenance, and system testing and evaluation.
