Description We are in search of an Operations Systems Supervisor to join our team in the Paper/Packaging industry. The role is based in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various operational systems, including parts purchasing, vendor sourcing, and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the parts purchasing team to ensure efficient procurement processes

• Manage and maintain the MVP system to enhance purchasing activities

• Source, identify, and establish relationships with critical parts vendors

• Supervise vendor services contracts nationally, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

• Conduct regular audits of the MVP system to identify areas for improvement

• Supervise the maintenance planner and preventive maintenance program to ensure quality standards are met

• Monitor and track data related to parts, vendors, contracts, and maintenance activities

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the operations systems

• Collaborate with other departments to align purchasing, vendor management, and maintenance planning with broader organizational objectives Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the paper/packaging industry

• Proficiency in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems

• Demonstrable experience with 3M and Eaton systems

• Experience in using 'About Time' software for operational efficiency

• Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role

• Capable of generating and analyzing KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reports

• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management

• Experience in a manufacturing setting and understanding of manufacturing processes

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proven ability to manage and improve operational systems.
