Summary Job Description:
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the Quality Management program of the Bethlehem warehouse. This includes auditing, reviewing and developing policies and procedures. The coordinator will also work with our network of sites on quality requests.
Essential Functions:
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for :
manage all QA training of Bethlehem Staff
manage all customer or regulatory audits
oversee pest management
Oversee 3rd party janitorial service
coordinate with external third party warehouse (review of records, sampling requests)
allergen control
coordination of raw material sampling & release
support local sites with coordination of sampling and release of finished products upon request
review & disposition of non conforming materials
generation of supplier non-conformances
manage the quality management systems: internal GMP audits, glass control, allergen spillage, traceability, other....
manage corrective and preventative action plans
Review and coordinate dispositions of stocks
manage food safety plan (HACCP)
Must provide a safe working environment including good GMPs
Committed to providing a safe food product
Work within all regulatory requirements
Perform all other duties as requested.
Job Requirements:
BS degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
High degree of computer literacy.
Working knowledge of GMPs , HACCP, Sanitation, ISO and working SPC/statistical knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and delegate
Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Organizational and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Food Safety including HACCP is an asset
Trained in Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Food Safety Standards: British retail Consortium (BRC) is an asset
Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite
SAP Knowledge a plus
Work well independently and with a team
