We are hiring an aspiring Civil Transportation Engineer for an internship experience. This position will be located at the Bethlehem, PA or Wilkes-Barre, PA Office.
Responsibilities:
Must have an interest in Transportation highway or Bridge Design
Highway DOT and Turnpike Work
Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, permits, and designs for various
Assists with the preparation of designs and plans under close supervision using computer-aided design and civil/survey engineering software packages or conventional methods
Prepares design computations and quantity estimates under the direction of an experienced designer
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience in MicroStation, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Experience in transportation, strength of material or structural coursework
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
Experience with Bentley Suites OpenRoads Designer
Previous engineering co-op/experience a plus
American Society Highway Engineers or American Society Civil Engineers Student Chapter membership
