Description: This is a Hybrid Telework opportunity. These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.
THE WORK
We are seeking a Trade Show Operations and Consultant Manager to lead our trade show and consultant management efforts for the RMS business area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of trade show strategy, process, planning, budgeting, execution, and evaluation, including leading a team of trade show producers and a team of consultant coordinators. Additionally, this role is responsible for the integration of sponsorships into the trade show process as well as leading the consultant management organization. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement tradeshow processes and updates to ensure efficient and effective execution of trade shows
• Develop strategic employment of trade show and sponsorship plan- optimizing finite RMS-level resources for maximum return to the business
• Ensure Business Development (BD) lead training and compliance, providing guidance and support to ensure that all BD leads are properly trained and equipped to effectively engage with customers and prospects at trade shows
• Manage trade show and sponsorship budgets, including current year execution and future year planning and allocation, to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources
• Determine and plan for future trade shows, including attendance limits, to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximize return on investment
• Provide executive coordination for Tier 1 shows, including tracking customer engagements, preparing trip books, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
• Plan and coordinate VP and SLT level customer engagement activities, ensuring that senior leaders are effectively utilized and that customer interactions are strategic and meaningful
• Track and status all trade shows, ensuring that milestones are on track and completed on time, and identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues
• Manage sponsorship tracking and planning, ensuring that sponsorship opportunities are maximized and that all sponsored activities are effectively executed and measured
• Develop and manage processes for external consultant coordination, including onboarding, training, and compliance
• Manage the budget for external consultants, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources
• Coordinate and manage the activities of consultants coordinators, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with business objectives
• Provide leadership and coaching to a team of trade, consultant management and sponsorship professionals

Basic Qualifications:
• Prior experience or exposure to trade shows
• Strong knowledge of trade show industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills, with experience in managing budgets and providing financial analysis and reports
• Experience in project management, capture, strategy, business development and/or communications field
• Experience in strategic thinking, executive level communication and decision making
Desired Skills:
• Experience in managing trade shows in a similar industry or sector
• Certification in trade show management, such as CTSM or CEM
• Experience with trade show management software and technologies, such as event management platforms and CRM systems
• Experience working with and managing internal or external consultants
• Experience with the LM consultant processes and tools such as ICON
• Strong network of contacts and relationships within the trade show industry
• Experience working with executives

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $117,200 - $206,770. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $134,900 - $233,680. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
