The Registered Nurse / RN will work within the Progressive Care Unit. The Progressive Care Unit is a 20 bed monitored unit for a combination of Stepdown Level ICU patients focused on thoracic and vascular surgical and trauma patients, stroke care and a full spectrum of acute cardiac care which includes pre/post cardiac intervention, telemetry, acute MI, unstable dysrhythmia, CHF or cardiac related diagnosis.

The Registered Nurse Clinician / RN is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients; coordinating the medical plan provided by support service departments relating to the assigned patients; identifying and implementing nursing interventions and evaluates results; and demonstrating developing leadership qualities.


  • Full Time, 36hrs per week

  • Rotating, Days (7a - 7p) and Nights (7p - 7a)


  • A current Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification.

  • Associates of Nursing required, a Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
