The RN / Registered Nurse will be on the Oncology Unit, a 26 bed unit that is dedicated to patient/family centered care. Service specializations include pain management and palliative care.
The RN / Registered Nurse is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients; coordinating the medical plan provided by support service departments relating to the assigned patients; identifying and implementing nursing interventions and evaluates results; and demonstrating developing leadership qualities.
Qualified candidates must have a current Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification. Associates of Nursing required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
Must have a minimum of one year experience, preferably in Oncology setting. Med/Surg experience welcome to apply.
This is a Weekend Alternative Position. Working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
