Qlik Sense Administrator

Contract to Hire

100% Remote

Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Platform Administrator. This position will be responsible for direct day-to-day support of the enterprise Qlik Sense platform end users, addressing Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident and response tickets, provisioning licenses and onboarding new users, as well as guiding end users through the capabilities of the platform to maximize the user experience through scheduled and impromptu support sessions. This position is also responsible for providing platform administration, maintaining deployed solutions and operational support to the enterprise platform. Candidates must be willing to work nonstandard work hours in the event of production deployments, changes, and upgrades to minimize disruptions to the end user experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure optimal platform performance and user experience.

• Provide access and technical support to platform end users, including license provisioning and user onboarding.

• Troubleshoot platform issues, including responding to incident and response tickets per established SLAs.

• Support maintenance of enterprise level catalog of data pipelines, and system connectors.

• Support maintenance of available enterprise level tools and features as documented in the service catalog.

• Provide technical troubleshooting and analysis in support of deployed front end and back-end capabilities and features.

• Contribute to technical designs detailing input, processes, output and controls to support software changes, test plans, scope statements and other deliverables required by the work request or project.

• Design, code, and test new and modified code for business intelligence platforms, applications, websites, and database.

• Provide documentation detailing data, business intelligence, and analytics system procedures, standards, and policies.

• Provide data, business intelligence, and analytics systems and solution specific documentation to end users.

• Trains users in the use of new and revised enterprise level applications, tools, functions and capabilities.

• Develop and adhere to all established security processes and procedures and all documentation

  Qualifications:

  Education and Years of Experience: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related technical discipline.

  A Bachelor’s Degree in one of the above disciplines equals one-year specialized and two (2) years general experience. An additional year of specialized experience may be substituted for the required education.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace or related software.

• Ability to collect and compile relevant data.

• Extremely organized with great attention to detail.

• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.

• Strong business analysis skills.

• Works well independently and as part of a team;

• Thorough understanding of the company's business processes and the industry at large.

  *Specialized Experience:

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience administering a Qlik Sense platform.

• Professional experience with administration of users and security rules in the Qlik Sense Management Console.

• Professional experience handling databases and understanding technology-driven using QlikSense tools
