The Opportunity:
CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Planning and Control intern who wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their tradecraft and experience in a fast-paced environment in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Bethesda, MD. We are seeking a motivated student to join an innovative and dynamic team that is supporting Future Submarine Design efforts.
This role is based at our Bethesda, MD office. Candidates are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to facilitate regular on-site work
Responsibilities:
Assist in assembling financial data under the guidance of the financial team
Help create basic financial reports using provided templates and data
Support the tracking of project status by updating spreadsheets or databases as directed
Contribute to the preparation of weekly status reports by gathering and organizing information from task leads
Learn to use project management tools to track the progress of assigned tasks
Assist in creating and formatting templates for Technical Project Documentation, such as summaries and presentations, under supervision
Observe and learn from collaborative meetings between the customer, financial team, and engineering team
Help organize and file project-related documents and correspondence
Participate in team meetings to gain exposure to project management processes
Perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree (BS/BA) in science, engineering, math, or finance related fields
Eager to learn about developing schedules and project plans. Interest in understanding mission execution processes. Willingness to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and other project management tools
Experience with MS Office suite of products.
Eager to learn, self-starter.
Desired:
Active Secret clearance
Experience working on a government or DoD site

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$35,776 - $66,800
