Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance. Responsibilities include changing HVAC filters, cleaning coils, replacing and assembling valves, repairing sensors, and performing minor carpentry tasks such as repairing floors, doors, and furniture. The role also involves unclogging and fixing toilets, urinals, and sinks, as well as exposure to building automation systems and ticket ordering. Strong time management skills are essential to coordinate and supervise sub-contractors while completing daily routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Change HVAC filters and clean coils.

• Replace and assemble valves, repair sensors, and perform pipe replacements as needed.

• Conduct minor carpentry tasks such as repairing floors, doors, and furniture.

• Unclog and fix toilets, urinals, and sinks.

• Manage exposure to building automation systems and ticket ordering.

• Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors on site and manage daily routine tasks.

Essential Skills

• HVAC maintenance and repair.

• Electrical maintenance in office spaces and bathrooms.

• General plumbing and preventive maintenance.

• 5+ years of commercial building maintenance experience.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete general maintenance tasks.

• Basic computer skills for reporting, researching, and effective communication.

• Organizational skills to maintain facility maintenance records and reports.

• Time management skills to coordinate and supervise sub-contractors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CFC Universal certification.

• Experience with building automation systems.

• Commercial experience (residential experience not preferred).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethesda, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00
