The HVAC Mechanic performs functions in keeping with safe hospital and industrial standards and practices. The candidate will be required to work a varied schedule in keeping with the time schedule of the availability of the equipment to be maintained.. Maintain and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment, as well as, perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in such a manner as to keep equipment failure to a minimum.High school diploma preferred.

Attendance at a school for trades or completion of a service connected with mechanical or electrical training program preferred. Universal CFC certification required.3-5 years HVAC/R experience required. Hospital experience a plus. Knowledge of D.D.C. controls and HVAC applications necessary.Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of refrigeration systems needed.
