The EKG Technician will work within the EKG/Cardio Dept.
Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the department supervisor, performs 12 lead and rhythm strip electrocardiograms, applies and removes Holter monitor with all corresponding documentation and record keeping.
Performs ABI, PVR, and Segmental blood pressures with and without exercise.
Hours:
PRN
6a - 4p shifts
Experience:
One year of experience in cardiovascular testing is preferred
Completion of EKG course preferred
Education/Licensure:
High school diploma or equivalent GED
CCT certification must be completed within one year of hire
CPR required
