Lockheed Martin Data Management & Interoperability Manager in Bethesda, Maryland

Description: The Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) organization is responsible for the advancement and successful operational execution of MFC’s Business Area Data Strategy, allowing MFC to optimize, protect, and leverage data as an enterprise asset. This Data Management Manager role will be a member of the MFC CDAO leadership team, with personnel, technical, strategic, and operational leadership responsibilities for areas such as data governance, data standards, data integration, data operations, master data management, data quality, and data retention.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee and contribute to the creation and implementation of data architectures and other data interoperability capabilities to support business transformation initiatives such as MFC Road to 2030 and OneLM Transformation (1LMX)

• Partner with teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Applications, Analytics, and Transformation to ensure a common data architecture and model persists across all MFC IT and data systems.

• Lead the MFC Data Council to strengthen partnerships and drive data interoperability across MFC functional areas, LOBs, and Programs

• Work with the customer engagement lead and solutions architect to prioritize projects and architect data capabilities

• Conduct hiring and workforce development

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience leading data management and data governance practices

• Experience defining and implementing data quality business rules

• Experience defining and implementing master data

• Experience leading a team as a manager, team lead, and/or product owner

• Experience partnering with data stewards and subject matter experts to develop data interoperability capabilities

• Experience leading the implementation and support of data management tools

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Skills:

• Experience translating a logical architecture (i.e. an architecture model) into a physical architecture (i.e. creation of digital threads through integration of IT systems)

• Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

• Experience with SAP Information Steward

• Experience with SAP HANA Architecture

• Experience with Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC)

• Experience with Architecture Modeling (SysML, UML, UAF, etc.)

• Experience as a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner and/or other Agile experience

• Working knowledge of the MFC Road to 2030 strategy

• Working knowledge of the 1LMX business transformation program

• Experience engaging with software vendors to address tactical issues and shape strategic partnerships

• Experience harmonizing systems, processes, and/or data across business areas and functions

• Experience building and communicating technical and functional roadmaps

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $148,200 - $279,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $128,900 - $247,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
