Chevy Chase Acura in Bethesda is seeking highly motivated express lube technicians. We have been performing business in downtown Bethesda for over 80 years, establishing a vast and exclusive client base. This position is an excellent opportunity to join our team and advance to a high-paying Master Acura technician.     WHAT WE OFFER:  * Flexible Hours * Paid Training * Highly productive shop * Experienced Service Advisors  * Manufacturer training * 401K retirement plan with company match * Paid Vacation & Time Off * Free lunch on Saturdays * Closed Sundays * Medical, vision, and dental insurance * Short-term and long-term disability * Employee New Acura leasing program * Annual profit sharing bonus * Centrally located, close to metro   QUALIFICATIONS: * Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and following dealership standards * Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools   * Complete services including oil and filter changes, transmission and differential services, tire repair and replacement, wipers, bulbs, and filters * Communicates directly with the Service Advisor for recommendations  * Ability to use a computer and learn new software  * Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications * Must have a valid driver's license.  * Must have appropriate tools * Minimum 1-year experience with automotive repair   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors * Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns * Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings, and shackles * Check tire pressure * Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants * Drain oil from crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil * Add water to the radiator and battery. * Replace oil and air filters * Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs * Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and codes of conduct * Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals.    Requirements: * Occasional exposure to inclement weather while moving vehicles  * Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information * Must be able to lift 30 pounds * Must be able to drive a stick shift vehicle * Must be able to diagnose customer concerns * Must be able to make repairs quickly and efficiently * Ability to operate an automobile * Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending.
