Bethel Bakery Dishwasher (Part-Time) in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities
- Washes, rinses and sanitizes all pans, dishes, hand tools and accessories associated with bakery production, either by hand washing, or by utilizing our commercial dishwashing machine.
- Operates, loads/unloads, cleans and maintains commercial dishwashing machine.
- Moves equipment and supplies between various work areas, as needed.
- Prepares sanitizing solution to be used for the cleaning of all equipment.
- Monitors and removes all trash from receptacles throughout the bakery, inside and out.
- Assists in related bakery duties, such as cleaning, mopping and stacking of trays.
- Upkeep of all sidewalks throughout the winter by assisting with snow removal and salting, as necessary.
Maintains a clean work area (workstations, equipment, etc.) and ensuring health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior knowledge of food service cleaning practices, as well as previous experience using a commercial dishwasher is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.

``` - Excellent time management skills, with the ability juggle several tasks at once. - Good communication skills to effectively communicate with managers and co-workers throughout all departments. - Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, which include, but are not limited to; seeing, hearing, talking, performing tasks requiring manual dexterity, standing and being in constant motion for the duration of your shift, leaning over for extended periods of time, walking, lifting and carrying objects up to 100 pounds, climbing, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling equipment up to 350 pounds, and shoveling and salting during winter months.
Compensation & Hours
- Starting hourly rate is $13/hour.
- Part-Time; 20-29 hours/week
- Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-2p.m. This is a year-round position, so no high school or seasonal workers please.
- No late nights! Closed Sundays and on major holidays, which include New Year's Day,
Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day.
- Must be available to work on "All Hands in Deck Days."
Additional Information
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Will be required to wear slip resistant shoes during your shift.
Work Location
- 5200 Brightwood Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102; must be able to reliably commute or planning to relocate prior to starting work.
