Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging.
Position Summary: As a key representative of YKHCs Public Relations Department, it is essential that the Communications Specialist provides excellent customer service to YKHC employees and the public. Supports all YKHC departments media needs by maintaining and enhancing professional media materials that promote and support YKHC programs. Assists in the writing of promotional material for YKHC departments and the public. Coordinates specific programs or activities as assigned.
