Philips Supplier Quality Manager in Best, Netherlands
Ensure that the Quality systems at our Suppliers and within Philips, as well as our Supplier's products & services, meet relevant Purchasing Controls requirements.
You are responsible for supplier qualification, audits, SCARs, performance monitoring, external inspections/audits of Purchasing controls, product risk assessments and training.
Your role:
Exercising a multi-disciplinary approach and applying knowledge of Supplier Quality principles, theories and concepts; including ASL (Approved Supplier List) management, auditing, SCAR coordination, performance monitoring
Product onboarding and Quality Transition Plans
Executing and documenting compliance verification as part of 3rd Party Product onboarding and defining verification inspection plans where applicable
Participating in the supplier selection and qualification process, incl. Supplier Audits preparation, execution, and documentation.
Supporting the Approved Supplier List management, incl. evidence of evaluation records
Issuing Supplier Corrective Actions Requests (SCARs) and Quality Notifications to suppliers and ensuring completion
Giving input to purchasing control processes, procedures & systems in compliance with applicable regulations
Participating/supporting integration and validation of purchasing procedures with supporting IT and data applications for effective operationalization
Frequently interacting with functional peer groups, demonstrating the ability to gain cooperation of others, leading/participating in cross-functional projects
Exercising judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine the appropriate action

The EMEA Supplier Quality team consists of about 30 supplier quality managers supporting the Philips Businesses and Regions in EMEA.
You are the right fit if:
3+ years of relevant experience in a similar function
Auditing skill-sets, up to and including certified SQ lead auditor and ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO19011, FDA and EU MDR working knowlegde
Experience in Manufacturing Processes and familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, production/quality development and control methods: CtQ definition, DfSS, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.
Expertise in problem solving with quality tools.
Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) Ownership, Execution and Independent Review
Knowledge of LEAN: Including Daily Management
Fluent level of English, other languages are a plus
Ability to prioritize and work in a structured manner
Good Team player with good communication skills
