Philips Mechanical Engineer - Lifecycle Management in Best, Netherlands
Maintain high quality and performance of the components within the Image Guided Therapy systems in close cooperation with many internal and external stakeholders.
You will be integral part of the Lifecycle Management Agile Release Train that is managing a big diversity of problems in the field of product continuity, quality, productivity and improvement.
Your role:
Tracking, observing and improving the performance of our systems in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders
Maintain the high quality and performance of our mechanical components
Support in redesigns for quality, patient safety, reliability and serviceability of our medical systems
Work closely with colleagues in R&D, test and validation, norm compliance, quality and procurement
Support factory in solving quality non-conformances at suppliers
Support regulatory submissions activities to comply with all applicable medical standards and regulations, life cycle management, complaint investigations and post-market surveillance activities
You are a part of
Image Guided Therapy Fixed Systems R&D organization and the LCM Agile Release Train environment. We work in a multi stakeholder environment where the total program of Lifecycle Management is managed for the full scope of our systems in the field and in production. The department consists of an open and multi-cultural team working on new product introductions (PDLM) and lifecycle management (LCM).
You're the right fit if you have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience as engineer in an R&D environment
Experience in Design, Development & Lifecycle Management
Experience in documentation and quality-oriented
Good communication skills to connect with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Agile mindset
Advantages:
Experience and knowledge of mechanical engineering in the Healthcare industry
Technical Leadership and Planning skills
Experience with Image Guided Therapy systems
Design for Six Sigma - Green or Black Belt
