The Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement for TEIS and Corporate Services is a pivotal role within the Global Indirect Procurement team, responsible for driving the strategic sourcing vision for IT and Corporate Services Commodities, including software, hardware, telecommunications, marketing, travel, consultancy, and insurance. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can translate market intelligence into actionable strategies, challenge the status quo, and drive significant value creation across a $320 million annual spend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision and Market Benchmarking: Lead the development of a comprehensive strategic roadmap for IT and Corporate Services sourcing. Leverage deep market intelligence to benchmark against industry leaders and identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.

  • Contract Analysis and Management: Critically assess the current and future state of work (SOW), service level agreements (SLAs) and NDA’s for key contracts. Drive improvements by negotiating terms that reflect best practices and future business needs, ensuring that all contracts align with TE’s strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Influence: Partner with senior leadership across TE to define strategic priorities, ensuring that procurement strategies are aligned with broader business goals. Act as a trusted advisor who provides insights on market trends, potential risks, and opportunities for competitive advantage.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, focusing on long-term partnerships that drive continuous improvement and innovation. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment with TE’s expectations and to address any performance issues proactively.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of procurement professionals. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their strategic sourcing capabilities, ensuring that they are equipped to support TE’s ambitious growth objectives.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement and oversee rigorous procurement processes that ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency. Utilize advanced procurement tools and analytics to drive decision-making and measure success against key performance indicators (KPIs).

What your background should look like:

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT Procurement, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on IT and Corporate Services. Demonstrated success in leading global procurement teams and managing large, complex spend categories.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $139,360 -$209,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
