Information Protection Manager VP - R-761641  

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Who we are looking for State Street seeks to recruit an Information Protection VP responsible for leading a governance and reporting team within the Information Protection program at State Street. This leader will have the responsibility to grow and run the team responsible for receiving, assessing, and identifying compliance / non-compliance with the Information Protection Standard Information Protection Program. The leader of this team is tasked with executing these responsibilities in addition to overseeing all governance and reporting for data in transit. This position requires strong organization, technical and operational knowledge of information protection, a proven track record of leadership within a dynamic environment, and a strong deire to protect the bank's assets. What you will be responsible for As an Information Protection VP you will  * Run the governance and reporting team's day to day operations  * Oversee the process for receiving and aggregating data related to DLP, encryption management, and key & certificate management for all data in transit  * Ensure process validates the accuracy and completeness of data received  * Develop and report Key Performance Indicators and reporting for submission into enterprise reporting as part of the larger program  * Lead efforts requiring remediation and compliance with stakeholders and application owners  * Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiencies in collecting and reporting metrics  * Ensure the team is using the right tools and methods to collect and report metrics and track remediation efforts  * Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team

What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role  * Strong understanding of governance and reporting  * Fundamental understanding of encryption management, data loss prevention, and key and certificate management  * Strong problem solving and analytical skills  * Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment  * Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources  * Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills  * Ability to lead a team capable of reporting metrics and driving related compliance actions

Education & Preferred Qualifications  * 10+ years of experience with information protection and/or related fields demonstrated  * through work, military, or education  * 5+ years of experience with managing and leading teams or functions  * 5+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, problem and  * incident management, and availability management, demonstrated through work, military,  * or education  * Strong background in data protection, governance, risk management, and/or information  * protection preferred

Salary Range: $155,000 - $230,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
