AscellaHealth Financial Analyst - Business Development in Berwyn, Pennsylvania

What we are looking for

AscellaHealth is looking for a Financial Analyst to be an essential part of the Sales and Business Development team. They will work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to provide key support in financial analytics, modeling, and pricing. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join a rapidly growing global organization, contributing directly to that growth by identifying key revenue targets.

This role is based at AscellaHealth’s headquarters in Berwyn, PA, and will be required to be in the office with some opportunity for a hybrid work location.

What the position will be doing

  • Provide support for all sales and business development financial analytics and modeling.

  • Analyze past sales results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Gather and coordinate pricing requests.

  • Own the monitoring of each area of the P&L aligned with our go-to-market strategy.

  • Analyze financial data and provide forecasting and reporting support. This includes assistance with developing automated financial reporting/forecasting tools.

  • Provide a financial information package in support of regular BD meetings.

  • Attend regular BD meetings and present appropriate pipeline opportunities to senior leadership.

  • Provide support for RFI and RFP submissions as needed.

  • Curate the forecast values in the CRM tool.

  • Manage projects related to the finance group as needed.

  • Actively contributes to a positive work environment by acting and communicating to facilitate relationships, continuity of business operations, and meet company demands and expectations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in work schedules/and work assignments driven by departmental and organizational needs.

    Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. A higher degree in related fields is helpful.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and accounting as well as financial modeling necessary.

  • Previous experience in financial planning and analysis role required.

  • Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and analyzing variances is required.

  • Knowledge of financial management tools, as well as data analysis tools, like Power BI, is necessary.

  • Experience running small projects related to financial planning and analysis.

  • Knowledge of healthcare, PBM, and/or pharmaceutical space is ideal.

  • Knowledge of market research, business analysis, project management, and business development

  • Experience in using CRM tools is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced working knowledge Excel, including working with complex pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPS, etc.

  • Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule.

  • Excellent, transparent, and persuasive communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing and competing priorities.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.

  • Ability to be highly transparent, ethical, and driven.

  • Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
