Grade Levels: EC-8th Grade.  District has 3 Elementary and 1 Middle School

Hours: 8:10am - 3:10pm

School Dates: August 21st, 2024 - May 30th, 2025

AnthroMed Education is thrilled to announce the creation of a brand new position within the district in Berwyn, and we're on the lookout for a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to fill it. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on student success. This position will focus on enhancing life skills and supporting self-contained programs, with the flexibility to provide consultation for various other cases as needed. Responsibilities:

  • Providing services to students ranging from EC-8th grade; supporting as a District BCBA between 3 buildings

  • BCBA would have their own space at one of the schools as a home base

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive support system for students.

  • Provide training and guidance to school staff on evidence-based behavior management strategies.

  • Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make necessary adjustments.

  • Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.

  • Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to support a positive and inclusive school culture.

  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of behavioral goals and objectives.

  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Program

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in K-12.

  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and methodologies.
