High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years’ related experience
Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and manual bander required; extensive experience preferred
Ability to perform basic computerized time clock and system data entry
Ability to use basic math skills, basic measurement equipment (i.e., tape measure, calculator) and techniques
Team oriented and strong level of independence required
Ability to frequently standing, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balancing
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Conduct daily cycle counting using system-generated reports - fill in the report and turn it into the material supervisor
at the end of shift
Use pick list to pull product out of inventory and process transactions in computer system
Work with Customer Service/Buyer on material shortages and expedite
Assist in other areas of material organization as required
Verify that we practice first in, first out (FIFO) with all Materials at all times
Receive and re-stock inventory received from production - post all pick lists and transactions to update system inventory which are tracked manually on paper and entered into computer system at the end of each shift
Process all the necessary paperwork and ensure data entry accuracy
Ensure a clean and clear work area on a normal basis
Follow and practice safety procedures
Frequently move around in departments and buildings to interact with others
Regular use of panel saw and drying ovens
Occasional flexibility regarding overtime to ensure availability to load or unload outgoing or incoming material outside
of regularly scheduled hours
Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned as needed
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
