Amazon Specialist, Engagement Marketing - 12-month Fixed-Term Contract in Berlin, Germany

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This position will be crucial to establishing a global onboarding programme at Audible that meets the needs of various customer segments and delivers increased listening engagement and retention. As the Specialist, Engagement Marketing you will support delivering member engagement and retention objectives, primarily through in-app content management, merchandizing, and through email marketing. This role is crucial to meeting our team’s goals of welcoming new customers and creating habituation pathways that lead to long term engagement and retention.

This position is a 12month fixed-term contract.

As the Specialist, Engagement Marketing, you will…

  • Support merchandizing activities with creating and scheduling content to our apps and websites

  • Support product feature launches by managing content and messaging and setting up the right customer journeys

  • Plan and request email and push notifications to the Marketing Operations team to support marketing strategies

  • Provide assets, translations and approvals to the Marketing Operations team to build the outbound campaigns

  • Create and update outbound reports, analyze A/B tests and provide recommendations

  • Create test plans with clear hypotheses and guidelines to determine if a campaign was successful

  • Update and maintain roadmap documentation

  • Ensure all outbound communication is aligned with brand guidelines in terms of creative and tone of voice

  • Report on the performance of campaigns

  • Support the team in implementing new product features planned through 2024/25 to drive onboarding and habituation

  • Support the team in setting up onboarding programmes for different customer cohorts via email and in app/onsite

  • Deliver initiatives to drive improvements in marketing opt-in rates over email

  • Deliver optimisation tests across app, web and email

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in coordinating, testing, reporting and optimization of outbound marketing campaigns

  • Experience in merchandizing and eCommerce disciplines

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results

  • Ability to engage cross-functionally and thrive in a dynamic global environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of engagement & retention best practices and CRM

  • Understanding of subscription models and/or entertainment services
