What part will you play?

• In your new role, you will carry out type tests for digital protection and field devices (EMC tests, product safety tests, climatic and mechanical tests, UL certification).

• Furthermore, you will define, carry out and document tests. You will reliably create and maintain the associated test documentation.

• You plan the test environment and procure the necessary hardware and software.

• You will be responsible for setting up, commissioning, and maintaining the test stations.

• You will support development and product management with design reviews, risk analyses and the evaluation of new market requirements.

• Also, you will work closely with external testing and approval bodies.

• You will coordinate audits by customers and the accreditation body in accordance with ISO 17025 for our R&D test laboratories in Berlin

What you need to makes real what matters.

• The basis for your success is a master's degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or energy technology or a comparable field.

• You also have many years of professional experience in carrying out type tests.

• You have good specialist knowledge of the relevant standards on EMC, environmental simulations, product safety and environmental testing.

• You have good specialist knowledge of hardware development and measurement technology.

• You also have initial experience in laboratory management in accordance with ISO 17025.

• You are willing to make occasional business trips at national and international level.

• Your business fluent written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile
