Pay Range: $87,000 - $110,000

Under the supervision of the Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing crews, ensuring safety compliance, managing resources, monitoring staff performance, and building customer relationships to implement best practices for efficiency and safety.
What You'll Do
Assist in coordinating and planning work/projects for assigned crews to facilitate timely execution
Manage daily crew activities such as payroll validation, pre-marking, Dig Safe, marking out if needed, ordering stock, pipe deliveries, asphalt cuttings or grinding, and liaising with police details as necessary
Work with utilities, crew members, and city or town officials to ensure project details are clearly communicated and managed
Support the monitoring of safety, quality, and production standards, addressing any issues as they arise to uphold company practices
Review Operations and Maintenance (O&M) procedures with crews to reinforce adherence to company protocols
Facilitate training sessions and toolbox reviews to improve crew skills and safety awareness
Track and review crew performance and daily timesheets, ensuring incident reports are accurate and timely for any workplace injuries or property damage
Verify the accuracy and clarity of foremen’s reports, aiding office staff in ensuring precise invoicing
Manage change orders as required, in consultation with customer representatives
Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in relevant construction
5+ years’ experience supervising employees
Proven track record for successfully managing a team, mentoring and training new employees
Strong sense of personal responsibility and desire to keep crew safe

Work Environment
Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites
Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Legal Stuff
