Boeing's MQ-25 Advanced Design Team (ADT) is seeking a Senior Design and Analysis Expert (Level 5) in the definition and integration of Communications, Navigation and Identification (CNI) integration avionics systems located in Berkley, MO.

The selected candidate will act as a subject matter expert across programs and provide technical leadership and drive the establishment of a holistic integration approach across programs for CNI sub-systems. This candidate would lead efforts to establish military and FAA certifications plans and artifacts for the CNI sub-systems. The chosen candidate will provide technical review of work products and provide mentorship in the area of CNI to Boeing teammates. The position requires great attitude and willingness to learn, ensuring high quality, and strong collaboration.

Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing operational Use-cases

  • Technical oversight for integration of the Communications suite into air vehicles

  • Peer Review of Team Documentation

  • Supporting Military and FAA Certification of Communications sub-systems developing sub-systems Interface Control Documents (ICDs)

  • Developing sub-system integration requirements Supporting equipment acquisition

  • Mentorship of Teammates

  • Leading Customer/Supplier meetings

  • Will be expected to travel domestically up to 10% of the time

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). A final Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Networking Engineering, Math

  • 10+ years' experience leading engineering teams or projects

  • 5+ years' experience working with customers and suppliers to meet platforms and systems requirements

  • Must be willing to travel domestically up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with communications networks such as Wide Band SATCOM, Data Links, UHF/VHF Communications, Narrow Band SATCOM, Link-16

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.


This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
