Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst based in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. In this role, you will provide tier 1-2 application and technical support, facilitate IT technical activities for new employees, support key IT management processes and be assigned to and complete important project work for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance

• Provide tier 1-2 application or technical support and serve as subject matter experts for platform related responsibilities

• Lead and support IT technical activities related to the onboarding of new employees, including equipment ordering, preparation, installation, testing, and inventory management

• Handle IT operations support, including asset management, application support, security, decision-making, innovation and process improvement

• Be responsible for offboarding processes for terminating employees

• Participate in IT projects, such as Windows updates and voice/data rollout. These projects may cover Global, Corporate or Platform related activities or key objectives

• Utilize skills in Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Windows OS, and Meraki to perform tasks effectively. Requirements • Must have a solid understanding and experience with Active Directory

• Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 Enterprise is required

• Extensive knowledge of Windows OS is necessary

• Familiarity with Meraki is a must

• Experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar is preferred

• Exceptional problem-solving skills are desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Must be able to work effectively in a team and independently

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications in IT and Help Desk operations are a plus
