Description

1) Tax Correspondence & Issue Resolution

· Monitor email inbox for incoming messages.

· Route and save incoming emails per instructions.

· Create a list of questions about incoming emails if the action isn’t clear. Send an email to the Tax Director with the list of combined questions from the day each afternoon (if questions have come up that day).

· Call or email tax agencies to resolve issues, as instructed by the Tax Director.

· Provide status updates to the Tax Director on outstanding items.

2) Tax Payments

· Purchase Orders & Payment Requests

• Create, receipt, and manage all Tax Purchase Orders in JDE.

• Document and track all Tax Purchase Orders in the Tax PO Log.

• Track upcoming payments to proactively create POs in advance.

• Prepare and submit payment requests to Accounts Payable.

  Requirements

1) Audit experience ideal

· Assist with gathering information required for tax audits and notices.

2) Accounting experience ideal

· Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.

· Assist with preparing and uploading Journal Entries to Blackline.
