Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analysis & Insights manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills. Knowledge of Contact Center Operations or Fraud Operations is advantageous. In this role, you will be responsible for delivery of advanced analytics solutions that drive business insights, identify opportunities, and enhance decision-making capabilities. You will interact heavily with business stakeholders and present back to the business regularly. The role requires a high level of technical proficiency, business acumen, and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Communication

  • Leads projects or initiatives focused on development of solutions by working with our vendors and collaborating cross-functionally with business partners. Working with partners to understand functional objectives and challenges to develop hypotheses for business problems.

  • Define research objectives & tactical research plans. Perform analytics to address business problems. Provide guidance to cross-functional partners or leadership and advise on next steps based on insights, objectives, and research. Presenting actionable recommendations to inform strategic and tactical functional initiatives.

  • Prepare documentation (e.g., PowerPoint, Word) to communicate strategic recommendations based on research and data analysis. Supporting the implementation of processes, systems, and tooled solutions by building relationships & partnerships with key business stakeholders.

  • Collaborating with other teams (e.g., engineering, product, operations) to develop consultative solutions as needed for individual workstreams or projects for our business area.

Modeling & Analytics

  • Influencing cross-functional partners to develop and improve our methodology, modeling solution ideas to demonstrate the potential.

  • Using the cutting-edge technology solutions from leading vendors in the field of fraud prevention, to identify trends and solutions to block fraud contacts, while protecting the access to service for genuine customers.

  • Develop and maintain data models (algorithms, queries, approaches) for workstreams and individual projects within the Asset Protection and Fraud Strategy business area, to drive results and value. Execute exploratory and scenario analysis to shape future product enhancement and provide actionable insights for the business .

  • Manage testing and validation processes, to monitor the solutions implemented, identify any gaps and influencing others to close them.

  • Works with cross-functional teams, including engineering and data analyst partners, to build scalable data pipelines & data structure to efficiently maintain relevant, multi-year historical data and allow analysts to easily access the data for future analysis and modeling.

  • Develop data visualization ( using statistical software such as Python ) and reporting solutions such as Power BI or Tableau, to report and track business performance and drive process improvement initiatives.

Project Management

  • Owns individual projects end-to-end implementation. Manages risk associated with implementation and facilitates continuous improvement cycle to deliver expected outcomes.

  • Ensures delivery of scalable process and tools to automate or transform work that would otherwise be disparate, manual, or time-consuming. Influences project roadmaps and leads thinking on change improvements to existing business. Serve as an internal and external change evangelist for the team.

  • Drives implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitors & communicates plans, progress, and results; recognizes and capitalizes on improvement opportunities; and adapts to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

You'll sweep us of our feet if you...

  • Have academic and/or professional experience in fields of Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Have experience working with very large datasets, using Big Query / Google Cloud Product.

  • Have experience analyzing and solving forecasting & optimization problems, ideally retail, fraud management, or contact center related

  • Have experience working on large, high visibility programs spanning multiple parts of an organization, with knowledge and skills in project management

  • Have experience leading projects working with large data sets, finding insights, and telling stories using data

  • Have a structured and organized approach to drive programs & expected outcomes with minimal direction

  • Have excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills

  • Have high curiosity and ownership to learn and deep dive in problems

  • Prior experience in retail and ecommerce is definitely a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
