Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Management to lead our communication products team within Walmart Global Tech. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth by overseeing the development and execution of our communication product strategy. As the Director of Product Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and corporate communications, to deliver best-in-class communication products that meet the needs of our customers.

Our team gathers information about customer needs and applies our technological expertise and strategic thinking to create a product roadmap. What you'll do:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for communication products, aligning with the overall business objectives and market trends.

2. Lead a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, translating them into actionable product requirements.

4. Drive the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.

5. Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure product feasibility and scalability.

6. Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive and user-centric experiences for our communication products.

7. Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for the communication product portfolio.

8. Monitor and analyze product performance, conduct market research, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

9. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to anticipate market shifts and drive innovation within the communication product space.

10. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.

What you'll bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.

2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on communication products or related technologies.

3. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing communication products, preferably in a global organization.

4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is highly desirable.

9. Knowledge of retail industry and customer communication trends is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
