What you'll do...

Director, Business Operations & Enablement:

As the Director of Business Operations & Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in the growth, transformation, and operational success of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Reporting to the Senior Director of Operation Transformation, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of business operations aimed at scaling a fast-growing organization, with key focuses on business performance measurement, stakeholder engagement, program/portfolio management, people and culture, and operational efficiency. You will lead a direct team and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvements, strategic initiatives, and prioritization efforts to ensure CMO operational delivery excellence

Lead efforts to develop and grow the Centralized Business Operations & Enablement function within the Office of the CMO.

Own the comprehensive operational enablement strategy and execution aligned with the company and CMO's goals and objectives.

Develop an integrated view of ongoing initiatives, programs, and projects within the Office of the CMO to develop consistency and awareness across teams and bridge gaps between strategy and execution.

Initiate and deploy substantial efforts aimed at building a scalable delivery model, developing high-performing teams, and leading transformative changes in organizational culture, structures, and workflows.

Own, plan, and deliver the annual CMO internal stakeholder engagement and external communications strategy.

Deliver and support business communications and chief of staff responsibilities such as presentation development, OKR/KPI development, governance management, and regular updates for an executive leadership audience on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains, and lead initiatives to implement improvements while identifying and transitioning key processes that should be centralized to drive scale.

Provide budget oversight and collaborate with finance teams to establish and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and resource allocation alignment with strategic objectives.

Lead contract management process from NDA to execution in support of business development and operational needs.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Quality & Safety, the Walmart Healthcare Research Institute, key business leaders and shared service teams (i.e. Communications, HR, Finance, Pharmacy, Health Centers, Senior Leadership).

Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

SUNNYVALE, California US-04396:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

BENTONVILLE, Arkansas US-09104:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
