The Senior Manager, Data Analytics - Financial Services Compliance will help support financial service crimes compliance in the domain of entity resolution by developing effective scalable strategies, applying statistical analysis, using data analytics tools and technologies, all while working in an environment of continuous improvement and model optimization. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and lead the entity resolution model process, ensuring accurate identification and resolution of entities that are used within the financial service crimes compliance ecosystem of technologies models and end user tools.

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics - Financial Services Compliance supporting entity resolution will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Risk, and IT to ensure alignment and support for entity resolution initiatives, support statistical modeling and analysis by processing large amounts of data, present findings through data visualization tools, and work with third party providers or internal teams to oversee champion and challenger model comparison testing and tuning efforts and memorializing model selection rationales and supporting metrics and truth sets. The Senior Manager, Data Analytics - Financial Services Compliance will provide analysis on model output, support the ongoing end user feedback process, and ensure model documentation is maintained and updated as required.

What you'll do...

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective strategies for ongoing entity resolution monitoring

  • Leverage advanced data analytics techniques and tools, including name similarity matching, classification accuracy testing, unsupervised/supervised machine learning, neural networks, fuzzy logic matching, decision trees, etc

  • Collaborate cross functionally with end user groups to understand use cases and convert end user feedback into usable model training data

  • Procure and merge data from different relational databases to perform comparative testing of champion and challenger models

  • Research and analyze data subsets for root cause analysis and interpretability or to create hypotheses for larger scale data analysis and model optimization

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, experience with data wrangling techniques, such as cleaning, transforming, and merging data from multiple sources, experience with libraries such as Pandas

  • Maintain entity resolution model documentation including all sub-models, versioning, testing/tuning results, truth set data, labeled data, and approvals

What you'll bring...

  • Prior experience with entity resolution software or KYC models and/or Quantexa system applications

  • Strong background in mathematical modeling, data analysis, and risk management, as well as a solid understanding of KYC procedures and regulations

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Demonstrated ability to pick up new technologies and concepts quickly

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

  • Experience in data management, data quality, data cleaning data normalization and statistics

  • Strong knowledge about model risk management and associated regulatory requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Prior experience in the financial services industry or a related field is preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
