Walmart Senior Director, Supply Chain Management - International in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Sr. Director of Inventory Planning and Flow Optimization plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing inventory planning, inventory placement and targets operations Walmart International Markets. This position requires a strategic and analytical mindset as well as strong leadership and communication skills. As the Sr. Director of Inventory Planning and Flow Optimization, you will have a direct impact on the organization's profitability and customer NPS.

This position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:

  • Design and implement effective inventory management strategies including demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and allocation processes across formats and markets. This is a centralized role in International Supply Chain, that will perform diagnostics across various markets with Markets Replenishment, Flow and Supply Chain Leaders and recommend strategy, process changes and advisory support.

  • Optimize inventory levels - Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and demand patterns to determine optimal levels for each category and format. Identify and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts and drive overall sales.

  • Work closely with Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to algin inventory and flow management strategies with overall business objectives. Collaborate on demand planning and forecasting to ensure accurate inventory levels and lead time.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 6 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related

area OR 6 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.

3 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

3 years' supervisory experience.
