Job Description

A large global retailer in the Northwest Arkansas area is looking for a Linux Engineer to join their Store Linux team in the Infrastructure Services organization. This team is looking for someone who is willing to jump right in to making an impact and helping with day-to-day operations and support. This individual will be spending the majority of their day remediating vulnerabilities in the environment. Other responsibilities will include server builds, server provisioning, serving patching, and server upgrades.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years' experience in Linux Engineering (SuSe, CentOS 7, Ubuntu 22-04)

-Understanding of Ansible and ability to fix issues when they occur

-Puppet for configuration management

-VMWare and vSAN management and concepts -Experience working in a large retail environment

-Bash or Python for scripting

-Familiar with concepts pertaining to system security

-GitHub for version control null
