Walmart Director, Finance - Growth - Sam's Club in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Please note: This position is located in Bentonville, AR. Associates on this team report to office 3+ days/week. Relocation assistance is available.

Join Sam's Club as a Director, Finance - Growth and you'll play a critical role in helping shape, develop and measure key strategies within Membership, MAP (advertising) and 1:1 Member Engagement that will enable the short and long term success of Sam's Club. Finance plays a critical role with our business partners in evaluating the overall landscape that we have, do, and will compete for market share in (current and future state of competition, Members/Prospects, etc.). This involves continual development of business acumen, leadership skills, as well as technical skills on emerging technologies. You'll make an impact by:

  • Partnering with the Business in developing the long range strategy for Membership, MAP and 1:1 Member Engagement

  • Leveraging new tools and technologies (Power BI & Machine Learning) to provide key insights and thought leadership to senior leadership across the Growth org

  • Analyzing large data sets, including membership data, to get to powerful insights that help direct the focus of the business and drive value

  • Wearing your CFO hat, communicating financial results and presenting trade-offs options to the Growth leadership team

  • Providing decision support on strategic initiatives to the Chief Membership and Marketing Officer and Chief Growth Officer

  • Maintaining a pulse on the business and proactively sharing risks & opportunities

  • Building strong partnerships with the finance teams across Membership, Ops, eCommerce, Supply Chain, etc to ensure the connective tissue of decisions is understood across impacted areas

  • Helping tell the Sam's Club story and shape investor facing materials

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience

i n accounting, finance, or related area.

2 years' supervisory experience.

2 years' experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
