Dartmouth Health Pharmacy Technician II - Pharmacy in Bennington, Vermont

The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for assisting in the preparation, dispensing and delivery of medications to the patients of Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

Qualifications

Registered Technicians:

  • Be at least 16 years of age

  • Have a high school or equivalent diploma, or be working to achieve a high school or equivalent diploma

  • 2 years of customer service experience preferred

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required within 9 months from date of hire.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.

Certified Technicians:

  • Associates degree in a health or related field, (with 1 year of pharmacy experience) or the equivalent in education and experience preferred.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Requirements: Registered Technicians: - Registered Pharmacy Technician with the VT Board of Pharmacy required. BLS Certification required for Pharmacy Technicians if required to administer immunizations

  • Work Status:Variable: 7:00 am - 9 pm , Monday to Friday; 7:00 am - 5 pm Sunday, Saturday, and Holiday's;
