Aerotek Refinery Technician in Benicia, California

Job Title: Refinery Technician

Job Description

As a Refinery Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various refinery units. Your day-to-day responsibilities include checking in at the control room, helping establish permits, conducting job walks, checking for hazards, and writing off JSAs. You will take sample readings on the units, log them, and make minor adjustments to maintain optimal operation. You will also handle demolding for setup, which is the most physically demanding part of the job. Working in teams of 2-3, you will be involved in tasks such as degassing, stripping and refilling, vapor control, and managing scrubber, blower, and carbon systems. Training will be provided by our internal trainer, Joe, covering equipment chaining, SOPs, and more.
