As Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for operating in lock-step with product management teams to create a clear strategic direction for build needs of products in your teams portfolio. You will work with the scrum teams and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of a products features and functionality. Your will be responsible for seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Developers and Program team.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Own the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for Minimum Viable Product and quarterly releases.

  • Own and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.

  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.

  • Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.

  • Engage frequently with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.

  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.

  • Partners with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.

  • Demonstrate excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.

  • Interacts with customers/stakeholders in Voice of Customerrequirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.

  • Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products.

  • Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.

  • Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas. Routinely collaborates with UX in design decisions as applicable.

  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related computer field

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering and application design and development process with at least 5+ years in the Product Management process.

Essential Skills

  • Strong Enterprise Development experience is required.

  • Knowledge of Patient Monitoring domain and Medical Device Integration and Data Interoperability

  • Good knowledge and experience with SAFe, Agile methodologies and best practices

  • Experience with Aha and Rally or similar tools

  • Experience with industry standard design principles, frameworks and patterns

Desirable Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.

  • Good to have experience dealing with Microservices, Cloud (AWS or Azure) based architectural applications.

  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
