In this program, your role is to help build Digital customer Learn, Buy and Get journeys for connectivity and collaborating with Networks to have automated provisioning and state of art service assurance to our customers providing rich customer insights leveraging telemetry data and AI Ops on top of the telemetry data.

What you’ll be doing

Lead Learn, Buy, Get, Use and Support Digital Journeys:

• As a Global Fabric Solution Architect, you will be working with a wide range of business stakeholders and cross functional team to understand and define the solution principles underpinned by the system, people, process and technologies involved in the context of ‘Learn, Buy, Get, Pay, Use & Support’ journeys.

• Define solution architecture for BT global fabric network infrastructure, services and products.

• Collaboratively develop decisioning solution principles and validate them for adherence to BT architectural standards and principle.

• Evaluate and identify specifications, best practices, integration and proper use of systems, technologies, and processes as they relate to overall Global Fabric platform architecture and network services.

• Subject-matter expert on solution capabilities, IT definitions and provide advice and consultancy to other areas of business to ensure that the capabilities are being leveraged in the best way.

• Work with the Digital Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams on the creation of the conceptual architecture that addresses the high-level business requirements which are required to deliver expected business outcome as well as aligned with good engineering principles.

• Partner with domain leaders and IT business partners to drive personalization capabilities adoption in our business.

• Document control for high-level designs & solutions.

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability etc.

• Collaborate and share best practices/insights with colleagues and the architect community.

• Collaborating with senior stakeholders in order to support difficult prioritization decisions between different deliverables(s)/project(s).

• Timely Identify, intervene, and escalate any risk capable of jeopardizing the implementation plan of defined solution.

• Work in partnership with the wider business to orchestrate solutions that drive innovation and future digital thinking.

The skills you’ll need

• Technical Acumen; Understanding of Software Development principles, development processes, Devops, Cloud architecture and infrastructure. knowledge of Jira and confluence tools for collaboration is must.

• Technical expertise across CPQ, Fulfillment and Service domains across SFI Vlocity, Ciena Blueplanet and Service Now.

• Knowledge of Services Oriented Architecture, Microservices framework & APIs.

• Expertise in agile methodologies and digital product development

• Agile and Lean practices: This includes knowledge of Agile and Lean tools and techniques to drive innovation and keep projects moving forward. It largely focuses on the effective delivery of projects and ways to ensure the team is clear about its objectives.

• Communication: Strong communication skills ensure teams understand the technical scope of projects and that senior leaders know what work is being done.

• Strong stakeholder management: ability to drive strong, open and sustained communication channels both within Digital tribes and with the wider stakeholder community.

• Be a self-starter and not rely on being told what to do or how to do it

• Collaboration: This skill focuses on ensuring team dynamics grow in a positive way to promote smooth projects. It requires a keen understanding of individual strengths and team styles.

• Commercial management: The ability to effectively manage budgets for a project and monitor them through the duration of it. It also includes techniques to keep costs down wherever possible.

Experience you’d be expected to have

• Excellent Communication Skills with ability to effectively run meetings and collaborate across teams and functions.

• Telecom domain knowledge around connectivity, network services, hyperscaler would be very helpful.

• Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.

• Ability to proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution.

• Leadership and effective management skills

• Good knowledge on BT Global OSS/BSS ecosystem

• Experience in delivering a large number of projects and change initiatives in matrix environment.

• Proven experience of managing work through the software delivery life cycle in a development team

• Experience of working across a wide range of internal and external business and technology stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes.

• Made decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information or differing opinions (e.g., unclear deliverables)

• Actively participated in strategy setting sessions

• Work with people from other business locations or functions
