Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 8 years of experience in program management, Agile Project Management, Product Life-cycle Management, Network Architecture, Network Design.

• 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:

• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

• 5 years of supervisory experience, with excellent written and verbal communication skills that drive impact at scale.

• Experience with project and program management, as well as in Network or software engineering.

• Experience with one or more of the following: network data, control and management plane software design, or global network deployments.

• Experience with changing specifications or standards, with the ability to work with ambiguity.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

• Establish the idea and drive execution for the team, encompassing cross-functional projects across the Global Networking Technology team.

• Support partnerships with leadership, engineering, and product managers to ensure initiatives align with overall engineering and product priorities.

• Inspire and lead a team of technical program managers who embrace ownership, support collaboration and alignment across software engineering, network engineering, and partner organizations.

• Introduce tooling efficiencies and provide comprehensive support to teams, enabling them to execute projects.
