Google Senior Product Manager, Block Storage in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 8 years of experience with cloud infrastructure product management.

  • 5 years of experience working on data storage, compute, data protection, and cloud architecture product management.

  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a cross-functional organization and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.

  • Excellent product management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail.

The team's mission is to make it easy for customers to move their workloads to GCP by offering enterprise-grade business continuity, backup, replication, and durability for critical workloads, and embedding Hyperdisk in top data protection services and solutions. The team works to solve challenging problems in high availability, disaster recovery, and backup at global scale for GCE customers and partners.

  • Collaborate across executive leadership, engineering, marketing, sales, legal, finance, documentation, and support to deliver and scale products for data protection and business continuity.

  • Define roadmaps and detailed requirements collaboration with engineering.

  • Drive the strategy for the portfolio, and ensure customer success.

  • Manage product definition and success for replication and backup products within the block storage portfolio.
