Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

OMC - Responsys Test Engineering team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test to develop tests and automation tools for Oracle Marketing products. Candidates have to be experienced in software development . This engineer is expected to develop code in Java/TypeScript.

Must be customer-centric, goal-oriented, self-directed and have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with an unwavering dedication to operational excellence.He/She will plan and conduct activities concerned with ensuring the performance and reliability of our application. This includes development, automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Understand developer workflows and help improve their experience through instrumentation, analysis, development, optimization, and work with maven, ant.

• Design, develop and deliver distributed engineering solutions and tools

• Lead project teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Bring partners together across organizational and functional boundaries

• Work collaboratively in an Agile, CI/CD environment

• Key Requirements include Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5 to 9 Years of experience

• Experience on deploying containers with docker and container management tools like Kubernetes

• Experience with Java/Javascript and/or other enterprise languages.

• Programming Languages: Java , TypeScript
