Google Salesforce Application Engineer, YouTube in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Certification in Salesforce Platform Developer I.

  • 6 years of experience in configuration and custom development in the Salesforce domain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and implementing cross-organization along with cross-instance integrations in support of multiple business process environments.

  • Experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Apex, integration patterns, and scaling the Salesforce platform.

  • Experience in CI/CD and Release Management on Salesforce.

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

As an Application Engineer, you will be a part of the Engineering team building business systems for the YouTube Partnerships team that is tasked with achieving creator satisfaction and success. Your work enables our Partnership teams to provide strategic, focused insights for our YouTube creators.

  • Leverage Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Javascript, and SQL skills to deliver key new features using Salesforce platform and adjacent technologies.

  • Collaborate with the Business and Operations team to define, evaluate, prioritize, and improve Salesforce-centric application features and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional Engineering teams to stabilize and scale system integrations.

  • Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for system and application design.

  • Be a technical expert on the Salesforce platform leveraging your experience to architect and develop Salesforce-based applications to drive business success.
